A Ph.D. holder in Microbiology at the Islamic University, he founded the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and served as the Dean of the Faculty of Science. He was also the President of the Islamic University for 12 years. A distinguished researcher with numerous scientific publications, he dedicated his life to education, science, and benefiting others. He was martyred in an Israeli airstrike along with several members of his family.
