An Imam and preacher, distinguished for his dedication to reform, philanthropy, and his profound knowledge of the Quran. Every day, at the time of the Fajr prayer, he would awaken the community with verses of the Quran and kind words, calling out to them by name to join in prayer.
He was martyred along with his wife, children, grandchildren in an Israeli airstrike that hit their home in Rafah.
